Liebster award (two’s a party) + Back To School Tag

Hey guys.

Wow, it’s been a minute since I’ve done awards! I was nominated TWICE in less than 24 hours *feels ridiculously special*. Thank you Sinéad and Jacolene for nominating me!

Also, I have a tag I forgot to mention! Sorry I’m late (I got it a while ago…)

  • Acknowledge the blogger who nominated you.
  • Answer the 11 questions.
  • Nominate 11 bloggers
  • Give them 11 questions.

~Q&A (Sinéad)~

1. When do you write your posts?

Usually at night. Sometimes in the early afternoon.

2. Current Favourite clothing item?

My sweatpants that say “Nope. Not Today.”

3. Guilty pleasure?

Hmm… What a question… Probably sleeping in.

4. Favourite social media app?

WordPress. Yes. It’s social.

5. One thing you want to do by the end of 2017?

Finish a book I just started writing.

6. Shoe size?

7. Do you have your blog posts planned or spur of the moment?

Both. It all depends!

8. Do you have a favourite teacher?

9. Quote you live by?

“You miss one hundred percent of the chances you don’t take” (I have a few, but that’s one)

10. First memory?

My mom giving me a sippy cup.

11. Ever been to Ireland?

~Q&A (Jacolene)~

1. What are the three best things about yourself?

  1. I’m an artist
  2. I love people
  3. I’m adventurous

2. What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been to?

Probably Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

3. What is your biggest accomplishment that you’re most proud of?

Um…. learning to embrace myself.

4. If you were invisible for a day, what would you do?

Go to sixflags and ride as many rides as I want for free. You can’t charge what you don’t see…

5. Favorite childhood memory?

Going to King’s Dominion (it’s like sixflags but better)

6. Do you feel like a leader or follower, why?

Both. By nature, I’d rather follow but at the same time I won’t blindly follow (people, other than my parents). If it looks like my leader is off kilter I’ll start leading myself.

7. What’s your biggest pet peeve(s)?

  1. People tangling themselves in my yarn while I’m crocheting.
  2. The sound of finger nails scratching metal or the wall.

8. Would you rather spend three days exploring New York or Disney world?

New York because I’m not a fan of Disney.

9. Are you more of a cat or dog person?

10. Favorite Halloween or Autumnal movie?

Well, I don’t celebrate Halloween and I’m not sure I have a fave Autumn film.

4. What grade are you going into? (if you’re okay sharing)

10. Your least favorite?

16. Is there any way that schooling is going to help your blogging endeavors? Or how has it helped your blogging skills in the past?

Yes, school will help, I’ll get better at language arts. It’s already helped- I learned to write (okay, maybe that was a ‘duh’ moment, but I couldn’t help it)

17. How much time a day is school going to take for you?

  1. So many things we share in common! I wish I had a comment box right beside your post so I could make a mental checklist of everything to talk about haha. 🙂 I crochet too! I taught myself, and since I’m left handed I taught myself in a weird way, so everyone thinks I knit because of the looser crocheting I do, and the way I hold my hook and hands haha. Those sweatpants sound awesome! I love the message! The quote you had actually relates to a post I have coming out on Wednesday 🙂 Make sure if you ride rides at Six Flags, while being invisible that you choose a seat with no one in it!! Otherwise, that may get awkward!

    1. Haha 😂😂 I feel that ways sooo many times!! Like, same, SAME, saaaaaame!!! Wow… that’s too cool! I taught myself as well (I’m actually starting a brand, maybe you saw it? SGaG) I’m right handed but I tried teaching myself how to do it left handed too…… yeah, anyway, those sweatpants are sooo comfy! Really? I can’t wait to read it!!!! 😊❤ Haha 😂😂 Oh, goodness, you’re funny!!! I’ll note that, that would be pretty awkward!!! 😂😂

      1. Ah, okay, I wondered what your brand was when I saw the name. I’m left handed TAUGHT myself…the right handed way with my left hand…err.. I think that explains it. Once I learned my way, I can’t go back, but learning anything beside single and double (and one or two circle things for basic hats) I can’t get just yet. But that’s okay, I’ve crocheted five blankets. 🙂

      2. Hehe 😄 wow, so you can do both? How long have you been at it? Wow! That’s cool!! I’ve never made a blanket though I know how… I mostly crochet the unusual things, like shoes, purses, phone cases, etc.

      3. That’s awesome! I can’t do both. I crochet with my left hand but I learned through watching videos of right handers, and because of this that’s why my crocheting has its own unique look (similar to knitting). Like my friend who can crochet all sorts of ways, could not understand the way I crochet. Haha, she tried to do it like me, and COULD NOT. I have to manually pull the yarn (which is similar to the knitting technique) with my other hand. I can’t use my hook to pull the yarn otherwise it comes undone for me, I hope that made sense.
